WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME BEFORE I ATTEND MY FIRST CLASS?
Read the first 12 chapters in The Power Of The Actor book. All classes are script analysis and scene study.
Typically you are assigned a scene and scene partner prior to your 1st class. You bring the prepared scene to work on in class with your scene partner. Adjustments are made to your work in class and notes given to bring the reworked scene back the following week.

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF EACH CLASS?
3 hours. More time if needed to ensure all actors have opportunity to work.

WHAT IS THE SOURCE MATERIAL FOR SCENE WORK AND MONOLOGUES?
All work is selected and assigned from film, TV, and theater plays. Scenes are specifically assigned by the coach to address each actor's strengths and weaknesses based on their personal history and areas of difficulty.

WILL I BE ABLE TO PUT UP WORK IN EVERY CLASS I AM SIGNED UP FOR?
Absolutely. Providing you are prepared and off book. There will be no cold reads or scripts in hand. Always have 2 or 3 monologues prepared in case you or your scene partner are not prepared.

IS REHEARSAL TIME REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF CLASS TIME?
Absolutely. You owe it to yourself and your scene partner to spend a minimum of 6 hours a week between classes using the rehearsal process as a time for discovery and trying different objectives and ways to approach your work. You will then have the confidence to bring your "A" game to class. Just as you would to a professional film set.
HOW MUCH TIME IS ALLOWED TO WARM UP WITH ACTING EXERCISES BEFORE CLASS STARTS?
None. First scene starts as soon as class time starts. As with any career job you show up ready to work. That's how you should be training. Warm up at home.

WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT TO ATTEND CLASS?
18 and older. No exceptions at this time.

CAN I BRING MY OWN MATERIAL TO WORK ON?
Only on rare exceptions and with prior approval from your coach. Generally, this will only be allowed in the Professional level classes.

CAN I MAKE UP FOR A MISSED CLASS BY ATTENDING A CLASS ON ANOTHER NIGHT?
Only if there is enough allowable space and time to accommodate you. There are no guarantees. Any missed class time that is to be made up must occur within the same month that classes are paid for.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY FOR MISSED CLASSES?
There is no refund policy for missed classes. The ONLY exception would be for working a booked paid job on a professional set or stage. No refunds will be given for prepaid classes without a 48 hour notice before those classes begin.

CAN I AUDIT OR SIT IN ON CLASSES OTHER THAN THE ONE I AM SIGNED UP FOR?
Actors are encouraged to watch and learn from their fellow actors in other classes. Providing you are a paid up student and the class you are auditing is not full. Seek every opportunity to grow in your craft and support your fellow actors.
